McGuireWoods has been ranked among the world’s top 40 investigations firms in the first edition of the GIR 100, a guide to leading cross-border investigations practices based on independent research by Global Investigations Review.
The GIR 100 firms were selected for their ability to carry out sophisticated cross-border government-led and internal investigations. GIR editors analyzed data provided by law firms to determine the 100 firms they can recommend as a safe pair of hands for investigations with an international dimension.
GIR’s recognition of McGuireWoods is just the latest honor earned by the firm’s acclaimed Government Investigations and White Collar practice. The well-respected and widely read legal news service Law360 chose McGuireWoods as a White Collar “Practice Group of the Year” for 2014, one of only five firms to receive the honor.
The GIR 100 guide took note of the firm’s successes handling domestic white-collar issues, its efforts to support the compliance needs of multinational clients and the introduction of a new Strategic Risk and Crisis Management group to complement its investigations work.
Global Investigations Review is published by Law Business Research, an independent London-based publishing group which provides research, analysis and reporting on the international legal services marketplace.
