McGuireWoods advised Dominion Energy Inc. in its
$13.4 billion merger
with South Carolina-based SCANA Corp. that expands Dominion Energy’s
operations in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. The deal was
a finalist for Utilities Deal of the Year and M&A Deal of the Year
(over $10 billion).
Acquisition of Roper Technologies Inc.’s Scientific Imaging
Businesses by Teledyne Technologies Inc.:
The firm represented Teledyne Technologies Inc. in a $225 million
acquisition of Roper Technologies Inc.’s Scientific Imaging businesses,
which provide solutions for life sciences companies, academic research
and customized original equipment manufacturer systems. The deal was a
finalist for M&A Deal of the Year ($100 million-$250 million).
Acquisition of Texas Utility Engineering by EN Engineering
McGuireWoods advised EN Engineering in its
in Texas Utility Engineering (TXUE), an electric utility and
telecommunications engineering firm. The deal was a finalist in three
categories: Utilities Deal of the Year, Telecommunication Services Deal
of the Year, and M&A Deal of the Year ($25 million-$50 million).
