Mohammad Imaad, an associate in McGuireWoods’ Complex Commercial Litigation Department, will join Capital One as senior manager, senior counsel. In his new role, he will address the company’s legal needs across several business groups. His last day at the firm is Feb. 3, 2023.
Since joining McGuireWoods in 2017, Imaad has defended financial institutions, broker-dealers and other corporate clients in commercial, securities and financial services litigation. From 2020 to 2022, Imaad was included on Best Lawyers’ “Ones to Watch” list for commercial litigation.
McGuireWoods selected Imaad as a representative member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity 2021 Pathfinders Program, which fosters professional development of lawyers early in their careers. He previously participated in McGuireWoods’ Diverse Associates Leadership Program, designed to equip top-performing associates of color and LGBTQ+ associates with the tools and leadership skills essential to career development and advancement to partnership.
