McGuireWoods ranks among the nation’s leading law firms for supporting the professional development and career advancement of associates, according to a survey conducted by BTI Consulting Group.
The “BTI Associate Satisfaction A-Listers 2026” report is among the most comprehensive independent studies of associate satisfaction in the legal industry. Associates ranked their firms on key drivers of job satisfaction, retention and happiness, including commitment to help in their career, access to training and partners invested in their success. The findings are based on more than 5,000 individual responses and 190 in-depth telephone interviews with associates.
McGuireWoods earned high marks in four categories spanning overall associate satisfaction and satisfaction among women associates:
- Best at Helping Associates in Their Career — McGuireWoods ranked among the leading law firms for its commitment to supporting associates’ professional development and career advancement.
- Best Access to Training — The firm received high ratings for providing associates with access to training that builds skills and accelerates their careers.
- Best at Helping Women Associates in Their Career — The firm earned distinction for its commitment to the career success of women associates.
- Best Access to Training for Women Associates — The firm was recognized as a top performer for offering women associates meaningful access to training opportunities.
