Eric possesses extensive experience in E-Discovery, with a particular focus on the development and management of defensible document review workflows, privilege log preparation, and the implementation of discovery protocols that promote efficiency, consistency, and legal compliance. He routinely advises clients on all aspects of the E-Discovery lifecycle in complex litigation, regulatory inquiries, and government investigations.
Eric’s practice includes conducting custodian interviews, overseeing data collection efforts, and performing search term analysis and validation. He manages large-scale document reviews, including technology-assisted review (TAR), and provide quality control oversight for responsiveness and privilege determinations. Eric also advises on privilege log strategy and drafting, coordinates on-site collections, and utilizes industry-standard platforms such as Relativity to support the review and production of electronically stored information (ESI). With a strong foundation in both civil and regulatory matters, Eric brings a strategic, detail-oriented approach to discovery that ensures clients are well-positioned to meet legal obligations and minimize risk.
Prior to his time at McGuireWoods, Eric practiced at an AmLaw 200 civil litigation firm where he managed multiple pre-trial litigation and E-Discovery projects as a key member of litigation teams representing clients in complex commercial disputes, including the recovery of damages from failed Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementations and multidistrict antitrust litigation involving price-fixing and bid-rigging cartels across the automotive industry.
Eric holds certifications from the University of Michigan: Artificial Intelligence for Lawyers, and from the University of Pennsylvania: Privacy Law and Data Protection.
