David advises private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and strategic buyers on complex private M&A transactions, joint ventures, and corporate governance matters. He counsels clients across industries including sports and entertainment, consumer products and interactive media.
David earned his J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 2022, where he was a recipient of the Adrian E. and Anne L. Dollard Scholarship. While at Duke, David served as the co-president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and as a member of the Young Trustees Nominating Committee.
Recognized in 2025 as a “Top 40 Under 40“ attorney in New York by the National Black Lawyers, David is active in several professional communities. He is a member of the Sports Lawyers Association, the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association, and serves as an advisor to the Quantum Leadership Foundation. He also serves on the Duke Law Alumni Association Board of Directors.
