Mundo advises developers, sponsors, and institutional investors on the complex transactions that power our digital and physical worlds. With a practice focused on the nexus of energy and digital infrastructure, he helps clients build and fund the infrastructure of the future.

In the energy sector, Mundo has extensive experience representing sponsors, lenders, investors, utilities and institutional portfolio landowners in various conventional and alternative energy development contexts, including solar, wind, battery storage (BESS), LNG, RNG, geothermal, transmission and midstream projects in Texas and across the United States.  As data centers and other energy-intensive industries become the primary drivers of energy demand, he is increasingly relied upon to advise developers, hyperscalers and investors in the co-location and integration of industrial-scale digital campuses with grid interconnects and behind-the-meter power generation and storage resources.

Drawing on his real property, land use and entitlements foundation and years of experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements, Mundo helps clients navigate the transactional and regulatory framework necessary to bring energy generators and their large-load customers online.

A native Spanish speaker, Mundo regularly drafts and negotiates transactional documents in Spanish and represents Latin American clients in the United States, as well as international clients throughout the region.
