Alex’s practice focuses on public finance. He has experience working on a range of tax-exempt transactions, including bond financings for affording housing developments, capital improvement projects, and senior living facilities.
While in law school, Alex served as the director of the UNC School of Law Pro Bono Program, helping to facilitate over 5,000 hours of volunteer legal services during the 2023-2024 school year. Alex was also a comments editor on the North Carolina Law Review, where he mentored student writers and served as the primary editor on both student and professional academic articles. Before law school, Alex was a classical musician and early childhood music teacher.
