Patrick concentrates his practice on healthcare and life sciences transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and general corporate matters.
He advises clients across the deal lifecycle, from structuring and due diligence through negotiation and closing. Patrick also draws on his healthcare regulatory background to help clients navigate the unique compliance considerations that arise in healthcare transactions. Before joining McGuireWoods, Patrick earned his LL.M. and J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where he served as co-managing editor of the Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs and a member of the Student Bar Association. He received his B.A. in History, cum laude, from Wake Forest University.
