Sydney practices with the firm’s Healthcare department and focuses her practice on healthcare transactional matters and regulatory compliance.
Sydney received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from University of Miami in 2019, where she graduated magna cum laude. As a law student at University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, Sydney served as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Health Care Law and Policy, the president of the law school’s Women’s Bar Association chapter, a student supervisor in the law school’s clinical program, and a teaching assistant. Sydney also earned a Health Law Certificate and four CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for receiving the highest grade in a particular law school course.
During her time as a law student, Sydney also worked as a legal extern for Johns Hopkins Health System, a law clerk for a Management Service Organization, and a judicial intern for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Day of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Sydney earned her J.D., cum laude, in 2022, where she was awarded the William P. Cunningham Award for her excellent achievements and service to the law school.
