Nathan is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department. He has litigated matters at both the trial and appellate levels, drawing on his experience clerking in both state and federal appellate courts.
Before joining McGuireWoods, Nathan served as a law clerk for Judge Stephanos Bibas of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and Chief Justice Michael P. Boggs of the Georgia Supreme Court. He also was an associate in the Appellate and Supreme Court Practice at a large law firm.
Nathan received his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law, graduating first in his class and with highest honors. While in law school, he served as publication editor of the North Carolina Law Review, was a member of the Broun National Trial Team, and coauthored two law review articles. Before law school, Nathan received an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Georgia and a graduate degree in political science from the University of North Carolina.
