Shelby is a member of the firm’s Government Investigations and White Collar Litigation Department. She represents individual and corporate clients in a wide range of litigation matters. She also maintains an active pro bono practice.
Prior to rejoining McGuireWoods, Shelby served as a law clerk for the Honorable Autumn D. Spaeth, a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Shelby graduated Order of the Coif from Emory University School of Law, where she served as a student attorney for the Youth Justice Clinic, vice president of the Emory Public Interest Committee, and a member of the Emory Moot Court Society.

- Represented financial institution accused of violating Georgia cemetery laws in mediation and parallel state court litigation.
- Represented individual client in state and federal courts to resolve consequences of identity theft.
- Represented individual client in delinquency proceedings before Georgia juvenile courts and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
