Tim focuses his practice on complex regulatory litigation, including representation of utility companies before state regulatory entities such as the Virginia State Corporation Commission.
Before joining McGuireWoods, Tim practiced in the area of health care litigation, where he successfully argued motions and served as trial counsel in multi-day medical malpractice trials and health care regulatory board proceedings.
While in law school, Tim served as President of the Moot Court Board and was a member of the University of Richmond Law Review. At graduation, he was inducted into the Order of the Coif and Order of Barristers.
Tim presently serves as the Director and Head Coach of the University of Richmond Mock Trial program. He also teaches an introductory law course as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Richmond.
