Athena advises and represents individuals, corporate clients, and national financial institutions in a wide variety of high-stakes litigation in both state and federal court. Athena advises on environmental litigation issues present in large energy and infrastructure transactions. She has ample arbitration and trial experience wherein she has obtained numerous successful outcomes—whether it be a favorable settlement or outright victory—on behalf of her clients.
During law school, Athena gained valuable and practical insights while externing at the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office, and with the Honorable Judge Susan Breall. Athena remains committed to pro bono opportunities benefitting San Francisco and the larger Bay Area.

- Defense of major national bank in sizable consolidated class action litigation, and individual class actions, wherein plaintiffs allege FCRA violations, violations of various state consumer protection laws, and common law claims, such as conversion and unjust enrichment.
- Defense of major national bank in expansive class action litigation where plaintiffs allege various causes of action related to discrimination in home mortgage lending and refinancing.
- Defense of major national bank in large class action litigation where plaintiffs allege a scheme of fraudulent account openings and claims such as RICO, EFTA, and CCRAA violations.
- Defense of major national bank in class action litigation where plaintiff alleges a scheme between the bank and various account holders to defraud consumers through an elaborate risk-free trial marketing dozens of tangible products.
