Katie Studer is the chief of staff to the managing partner, serving as a trusted adviser and part of the senior legal management team. She participates in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives across the firm and administers firm processes and functions including partner compensation, partner elevation and practice management, which provides day-to-day operational support to the firm’s department chairs.
Katie holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of Tennessee, an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University and a master’s degree in human resource management from the University of Richmond. Prior to her role as chief of staff, Katie held legal operations roles in various functions, including practice management, compliance and recruitment.
