David represents companies in complex commercial litigation, regularly assisting clients in the aviation space address claims involving complex aircraft components and systems, toxic torts, and environmental contamination. While experienced with all stages of litigation, David understands the need to narrow and resolve issues early. To best position his clients, his practice focuses heavily on aggressive early investigation, employing modern e-discovery methods, and deep issue development.
While earning his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, David volunteered as a student attorney in the Civil-Criminal Litigation Clinic. For this work, he was awarded the International Academy of Trial Lawyer’s Award for outstanding courtroom advocacy. He also served as supervisor and research assistant for Professor David Uhlmann in working on the Michigan Environmental Crimes Project, a comprehensive and historical study of environmental criminal prosecution in the United States.
