Alice serves as managing partner of McGuireWoods’ Los Angeles office.  Alice helps institutional lenders navigate the complexities of commercial real estate finance, with a particular focus on agency lending and securitized transactions that support the nation’s multifamily housing market. She represents clients in connection with commercial real estate loans intended for securitization and sale in the secondary market, with deep experience in transactions originated under the Fannie Mae DUS and Freddie Mac Seller/Servicer programs. Her work ensures the efficient flow of capital into apartment communities nationwide by guiding complex transactions from structuring through closing.

Alice advises clients across all major conventional agency programs, including manufactured housing, student housing, green financing, and moderate rehabilitation loans. Her representative matters reflect both scale and sophistication—she has led transactions including a $300 million loan secured by a portfolio of workforce housing properties,  and a $525 million financing involving several affordable components, including a tax abatement, regulatory agreement and a housing assistance payment contract.

Alice has earned recognition in The Best Lawyers in America for Real Estate Law (2025, 2026) and Legal 500 United States for Real Estate Finance (2024, 2025). She has also been named by GlobeSt Real Estate Forum as an “Individual: Influencer in Multifamily Real Estate.”

Alice is a member of the CRE Finance Council (CREFC) and is active in the CREFC Women’s Network, where she supports mentorship initiatives and contributes to creating pathways for women leaders in commercial real estate finance. She is admitted to practice in California and New York.

  • Represented a Freddie Mac Seller/Servicer in connection with a $100 million mod-rehab loan.
  • Represented a Freddie Mac Seller/Servicer in connection with the origination of two loans totaling $50 million, secured by ground leased, student-housing properties. The loans were cross-defaulted and structured with a preferred equity component.
