In our next Celebration of Female Dealmakers, we want to highlight the deal
successes and female-focused initiatives of accounting and transactions
advisory firm CohnReznick. CohnReznick believes that diversity and
inclusion are necessary drivers of their clients’ success, and the firm
demonstrates its own commitment to diversity in a variety of ways.
Women comprise around 40 percent of the transaction team, and the firm has
further demonstrated a commitment to diversity through a number of
initiatives and accolades, including recognition for the sixth year in a
row as one of the “Best Public Accounting Firms for Women.” More notably,
CohnReznick was recognized as a Vanguard Firm by Human Capital Media
Advisory Group on the Diversity Value Index.
Led by 25-year veteran Claudine Cohen, the firm’s advisory group’s
Northeast Transactional Advisory Practice is especially impressive. This
team, which includes 13 women, worked on more than 225 transactions in
FY2018 alone, with a total value exceeding $5 billion.
Claudine is especially proud that most of CohnReznick’s transaction
practice leaders are women. She fervently believes that CohnReznick has
fostered a culture where women can thrive in challenging environments and
still have the flexibility to build the lives they want. More personally,
Claudine’s relentless focus on lifting up women is well-established in the
industry and her community. From her role chairing the Association for
Corporate Growth New York Chapter’s Women of Leadership Committee, to her
family’s commitment to improving the lives of impoverished girls in Kenya,
her commitment to improving equality for women in today’s world is obvious
We applaud Claudine and CohnReznick!
