In the article, Manning discusses the seriousness of antitrust violations, the importance of flexibility in her career and how to balance a challenging work life and a rich personal life.
Manning, an accomplished antitrust litigator, was elected to McGuireWoods’ eight-member Executive Committee in 2011 and became managing partner of the firm’s Chicago office in 2012. She has served as co-leader of the firm’s life sciences industry group, co-chair of its national recruiting committee, and as a member of its Women’s Leadership Forum. Manning is co-founder of the Chicago Women Antitrust Lawyers Network, co-chair of the American Bar Association Section of Antitrust Law’s Committee Operations, and a member of the American Diabetes Association Chicago board and the Institute Board of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
