McGuireWoods Washington, D.C., partner David Martin Connelly recently co-authored an article about Federal Energy Regulatory Commission member David Rosner for the Energy Bar Association.
Connelly collaborated with Gary E. Guy, assistant general counsel of Exelon Corp., to interview Rosner for the July 18, 2025, article.
The article highlighted the broad perspective Rosner brings to his role on the commission, including years on the FERC staff and at the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. Rosner said the increasing demand for energy alleviates the tension over fuel choices. “Every electron, we’ll take it, every molecule, we’ll take it!” he said.
Connelly, a nationally recognized energy regulatory lawyer, represents electric utilities and other industry clients before FERC and U.S. Courts of Appeals. He is president of the Foundation of the Energy Law Journal, a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization that oversees the funding, publication and business operations of the Energy Law Journal.
