McGuireWoods LLP announced today that David P. Pusateri, a partner in the firm’s Pittsburgh office, has been appointed deputy managing partner overseeing the firm’s corporate practice. His appointment is effective Nov. 1.
Pusateri is a Pittsburgh native and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Notre Dame Law School. He concentrates his practice on real estate, environmental and business law. He joined McGuireWoods in 2001 through its merger with his former firm, Sable Pusateri Rosen Gordon & Adams, where he was managing partner. He currently serves as the office managing partner in Pittsburgh and is a member of the firm’s diversity committee.
“Dave Pusateri has been in leadership roles throughout his career,” said Thomas E. Cabaniss, McGuireWoods’ managing partner. “The perspective he brings from Pittsburgh, along with his natural leadership ability and a practice that intersects several key elements of corporate law, make him a natural for the deputy position.”
Pusateri succeeds Nancy R. Little, a partner in the firm’s Richmond office. “We thank Nancy for her service to the firm,” said firm Chairman Richard Cullen, “and we congratulate Dave on his appointment to this important position.”
