McGuireWoods partner Sabrina A. Beldner was named Labor & Employment Lawyer of the Year in the 2022 Women in Business Law Awards: Americas, presented by Euromoney’s Legal Media Group. The annual awards honor women lawyers and law firms for exemplary service and advancing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.
Beldner chairs McGuireWoods’ global Labor & Employment Department and is the driving force behind the firm’s California employment law practice. She had a string of significant litigation successes for clients in 2021, building on her extensive track record in individual, class, representative and collective action claims, as well as traditional labor law matters.
Beldner also has obtained favorable results representing management in collective-bargaining negotiations, grievance arbitrations, unfair labor practice proceedings and at trial before the National Labor Relations Board.
Beldner has developed and led high-profile diversity initiatives for McGuireWoods. In 2021, she completed an impactful term chairing the firm’s LGBTQ+ Lawyers Network.
