McGuireWoods ranks among the top law firms in attributes associates value most in deriving high levels of career satisfaction, according to a new report compiled by BTI Consulting Group.
The report, “BTI Associate Satisfaction A-Listers 2022: BTI Survey of Law Firms Where Associates Are Happiest,” is based on an independent survey with more than 4,000 responses from associates at global, midsize and smaller firms. BTI analyzed results to identify key drivers of associates’ job satisfaction and ranked law firm performance based on associates’ feedback. The survey also isolated key differences between the qualities valued by women and men associates in determining job satisfaction.
McGuireWoods ranked among the top 5% of all firms for providing associates the best opportunity to grow within their firms, according to the survey. McGuireWoods also was rated among the leaders for helping women associates in their careers, helping women associates develop a career path and providing all associates with the best access to training.
The BTI report named McGuireWoods among the firms with the highest number of “extremely satisfied” associates, including women associates, and gave the firm high marks for mentoring those lawyers.
