McGuireWoods partner Jon Finger is a finalist for Attorney of the Year in the Mergers & Acquisitions Awards program sponsored by D CEO magazine and the Association for Corporate Growth-DFW. The annual awards spotlight top acquisitions, dispositions and other financial transactions in North Texas in 2023 and the dealmakers who made them happen.
Finalists will be featured in the May 2024 issue of D CEO magazine and honored at an awards ceremony this spring.
Finger advises clients in private equity and corporate transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, securities offerings and corporate governance initiatives. He co-leads McGuireWoods’ private equity industry team and was instrumental in creating the firm’s international Independent Sponsor and Emerging Manager Programs.
The McGuireWoods Emerging Manager Program was built to differentiate McGuireWoods as the pre-eminent law firm for emerging private investment fund managers. The firm’s second international Emerging Manager Conference took place April 16-17 in Dallas and attracted over 1,000 GP and LP registrants.
