The Los Angeles Business Journal named McGuireWoods partner Sabrina A. Beldner in its 2026 class of “Top 100 Lawyers of Los Angeles.” The honorees were recognized at an awards reception April 16, 2026, and profiled in the LABJ.
National and international companies consider Beldner their go-to counsel for high-stakes employment disputes, including wage and hour class and PAGA representative actions; litigation of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, FMLA/CFRA, unfair competition and trade secret claims; and traditional labor law matters.
Beldner led McGuireWoods’ Labor & Employment Department to significant growth in her four-year term as chair from June 2020 to June 2024. She also invigorated the firm’s vibrant LGBTQ+ Lawyers Network as its chair from 2018 to 2021.
Her accomplishments in the past year included pre-discovery dismissals in multimillion-dollar discrimination cases, hard-fought appellate wins, strategic class and PAGA settlements and victories in union organizing campaigns and labor arbitrations for major corporate clients.
“This is a special honor that stems from my good fortune to work with a team of terrific colleagues and from having the opportunity to represent wonderful clients,” Beldner said.
Chambers USA and the Legal 500 United Stateslist Beldner as a top labor and employment lawyer, and Lawdragon routinely ranks her among its Leading U.S. Corporate Employment Lawyers. In 2022 and 2023, the Los Angeles Business Journal recognized Beldner as a “Leader of Influence” in labor and employment law. The National Law Journal in 2023 named Beldner an “Employment and Discrimination Law Trailblazer.”
