David is a dynamic litigator who focuses on securities litigation and enforcement, complex commercial litigation, white collar and investigations, and all things sports law. He represents clients in state and federal court on both the plaintiff and defense sides across a wide range of high-stakes litigation.
As a former Division I football player, David brings a competitive drive and meticulous focus to every matter. As a certified NFL agent and sports advisor, he represents and counsels athletes at the collegiate and professional levels in contract disputes, name, image, and likeness (NIL) matters, and player-relations issues.
Before joining McGuireWoods, David graduated with honors from Georgetown University and earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law. David honed his trial skills at two commercial litigation boutique law firms in Dallas, delivering results across fiduciary duty, trade secrets, labor and employment, real estate, financial disputes, and complex breach of contract matters.
Born and raised in Dallas, David has lived abroad in Lagos and London. He mentors students through The Compass Project foundation and is passionate about film and music.
