Jeffrey S. Alberg Associate

Jeff focuses his practice on advising healthcare providers and organizations on a broad range of healthcare operational, regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters.

Jeff advises clients on the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, state fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA compliance, state corporate practice of medicine doctrines, state licensure laws, contract drafting, and due diligence. He also has experience assisting healthcare providers navigate government audits and investigations.

He earned a Masters of Law with a Health Law and Policy Specialization from American University Washington College of Law. While in law school at The Catholic University of America, he was the production editor of the CommLaw Conspectus: Journal of Communications Law & Policy.


Provided private equity fund clients with regulatory advice on transactional matters, including acquisitions of home healthcare agencies, geriatric outpatient therapy services, and behavioral health center providers.

Advised physician practice on HIPAA breach investigation audit by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office for Civil Rights.

Advised national home healthcare provider on Medicare audit investigation by U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Office of Inspector General.
