Andriana Shultz Daly Partner

Andriana brings more than a decade of experience handling complex commercial and intellectual property litigation across a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, medical devices, finance, transportation, and higher education. She has first-chair jury trial experience and routinely leads matters from pre-litigation strategy through briefing, depositions, hearings, and trial, including consumer arbitrations. She has consistently been recognized among Virginia Business magazine’s Legal Elite.

Her intellectual property practice includes litigation and strategic counseling in patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret matters. She provides comprehensive advice to clients of all sizes, from early-stage innovators to global enterprises, guiding them through the development, enforcement, and defense of their IP portfolios.

Andriana also brings nearly four years of valuable in-house experience as associate general counsel for a global pharmaceutical company operating in a highly regulated industry. In that role, she managed the company’s global litigation portfolio, including antitrust class actions, securities class actions, multiple multi-district litigations (MDLs), and nationwide civil opioid and products liability matters. She successfully negotiated the resolution of long-standing antitrust litigation involving claims exceeding $10 billion and played a lead role in structuring the company’s global opioid settlement, including resolution of claims by states, municipalities, and tribal governments.

She also served as the company’s primary advisor on matters related to its Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) and U.S. Department of Justice Resolution Agreement—guiding the company through regulatory oversight and toward anticipated release from those agreements. Her responsibilities further included overseeing internal and government investigations and advising on a wide range of legal matters, including those involving the FDCA, employment law, and SEC disclosures.

Earlier in her career, Andriana clerked for the Honorable Henry E. Hudson of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia (Richmond Division).
