Emily focuses her practice on commercial real estate law with a particular emphasis on renewable energy projects.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Emily’s practice encompassed a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, with substantial experience in the acquisition, disposition, development, and financing of commercial, retail, medical, residential subdivision, industrial, and mixed-use properties across the United States. She supports clients’ real estate needs throughout the transaction lifecycle by reviewing title, survey, and due diligence; analyzing and curing title-related issues; and drafting closing documents, estoppels, contract amendments, and other real estate and transactional documents. Emily joined McGuireWoods in 2024 in order to focus her practice on the renewable energy industry within commercial real estate.
Emily earned her J.D. from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law, where she served on the Science and Technology Law Review and graduated as a member of Order of the Coif.
