Chaya serves as an associate in the Real Estate Finance Practice Group in the Washington, D.C. office of McGuireWoods.

Chaya has extensive experience representing lenders in connection with the financing of multifamily properties located throughout the United States through the Fannie Mae Delegated Underwriting and Servicing (DUS) program and the Freddie Mac Capital Markets Execution (CME) program. Chaya has significant experience representing lenders in the servicing of loan transactions sold to secondary market investors (primarily Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac) and routinely handles complex servicing matters involving loan portfolios, affordability restrictions, preferred equity JV structures, condominiums, leasing and other issues.

Chaya also has experience representing private and institutional investors, developers and owners in complex real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions and financing of office, multifamily, retail, manufactured housing and other assets.
