George is an antitrust lawyer with experience in civil litigation, criminal cartel investigations, and merger clearances.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods, George served as a law clerk to the Honorable M. Hannah Lauck of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. During graduate school, George worked in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. George also participated in the University of Virginia School of Law’s Economic Justice and Consumer Law Clinic. In addition to receiving his law degree, George earned a Master of Public Policy at the University of Virginia, writing his thesis on truth commissions in the United States.

George earned his undergraduate degree at the College of William and Mary, where he wrote an award-winning honors thesis on political liberalism and received the Alumni Prize, an award reserved for two graduating seniors in each department. As an undergraduate, George interned at two international banks and served as a legislative aide in Wales.
