DEI 2025 Legal Enforcement Webinar Series

Compliance Under the New Administration

February 2025

Complimentary Webinars

On Jan. 22, 2025, President Donald Trump issued a new executive order, revoking Executive Order 11246 regarding federal affirmative action. The order also went further and directed EEOC, DOL, DOE and other federal agencies to target certain diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practices with the goal of ending asserted “illegal discrimination and preferences.”

McGuireWoods affirmative action and education team members review the new enforcement environment, related litigation trends, and considerations in addressing legal and other risk.
