Matthew Hall Nominated for Prestigious Antitrust Writing Award

McGuireWoods London partner Matthew Hall was nominated by Concurrences Antitrust Publications & Events and the George Washington University Law School’s Competition Law Center for their 2026 Antitrust Writing Awards.

Hall’s article, “Dawn raids: adapting to new challenges,” was the April 2025 cover article in PLC Magazine. Concurrences nominated it in the Business Articles category and Procedures subcategory.

One article in each subcategory will be honored by the awards jury. In addition, The Readers’ Choice Award will recognize the article in each subcategory that receives the most votes from the public. Readers can vote for Hall’s article here from Jan. 13 until March 21, 2026. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on March 24 on the eve of the American Bar Association Antitrust Spring Meeting in Washington, D.C.

The Concurrences editorial committee nominated the 150 best business articles out of 700 submitted. The awards program recognizes writing, scholarship, originality, practical relevance and contributions to competition advocacy in the legal and economic fields.
