McGuireWoods partner Joel Spitz was named to Crain’s Chicago Business’ 2023 Notable Leaders in Employment & Labor Law. Published on Nov. 20, 2023, the feature recognizes 40 leaders who excel in handling legal matters for management and employees, as well as pro bono work.
Spitz, former chair of McGuireWoods’ labor and employment practice, is an experienced litigator in the employment discrimination area. He handles multiparty and class action cases involving federal, state, and local discrimination and labor statutes and ordinances, and counsels employers on how to avoid discrimination charges and lawsuits.
