Madeline is an associate in the Real Estate and Land Use Department in McGuireWoods’ Chicago office. Madeline’s experience includes all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing.
Madeline regularly represents developers, institutional investors, private funds, and lenders in transactions involving retail, multifamily, office, mixed-use, and industrial properties across the United States.
Madeline received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia and her Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law in Lexington, Kentucky.

- Represented a liquidation trust established to benefit creditors and investors affected by a massive Ponzi scheme and assisted in the disposition of mixed-use real estate assets valued in the hundreds of millions.
- Represented leading investment management firm in leasing matters for a large mixed-use real estate asset in Dallas, Texas.
- Represented developer in the acquisition and financing of a $84 million mixed-use redevelopment project in downtown Indianapolis.
- Represented a publicly traded REIT as non-consolidation opinion counsel in multiple refinancings of over $1 billion of retail real estate assets across the United States.
- Represented a foreign private equity firmĀ in several acquisitions and Shari’ah-compliant financing transactions.
