Micaylee harnesses her extensive experience as a complex, high-stakes civil litigator to provide the best results for her clients, from the filing of an initial complaint through trial and appeal. Micaylee is a member of the Financial Services & Securities Enforcement department.

Micaylee served as a federal law clerk in the Eastern District of Virginia and employs the insight she has gained from her state and federal clerkships to develop winning litigation strategies for each of her clients.

  • Represented numerous clients in multi-million-dollar complex business and civil conspiracy claims, construction litigation, employment matters, statutory claims, trust and estates litigation.
  • Prevailed in numerous employment-related cases, including enforcement of non-compete and non-solicitation clauses, and against discrimination claims.
  • Successfully defeated several motions for preliminary injunction in state and federal court.
  • Obtained favorable judgment following a two-week civil trial in California state court.
  • Successfully defended one of the world’s most prominent financial institutions against state law claims in the Southern District of California.
  • Prevailed on a motion to dismiss in dispute over a multimillion-dollar trust.
  • Prevailed following a two-week jury trial in defense of intellectual property, business and civil conspiracy, and civil tort claims in the Eastern District of Virginia.
  • Obtained an eight-figure win in a matter involving construction and contract dispute claims for a well-known technology company.
  • Successfully represented clients in prosecuting and defending antitrust, patent infringement, and trade secrets claims.
