Adam is an associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment Department.

He works on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters and has experience in employee benefits and incentives work and data protection.

Experience

  • Advised employers on employment status of atypical individuals and the associated rights and obligations.
  • Provided strategic advice to and representation of a UK registered care provider in relation to a TUPE transfer of employment, effecting over 1,500 employees.
  • Advised international clients on UK securities law and tax consequences in relation to employee based incentive schemes.
  • Conducted due diligence exercises on asset and share sales (including public takeovers), acting for both buyer and seller in relation to employees, particular the impact on incentive schemes.
  • Advised on apportionment of holiday pay under the Working Time Regulations to protect employers from back-dated holiday pay claims and advised on the risks of liability and potential quantum.
