Joe focuses his practice on corporate transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and general corporate governance.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Joe served as judicial law clerk to U.S. District Judge James Wesley Hendrix in the Northern District of Texas.
Joe graduated Order of the Coif from Texas Tech University School of Law where he served as the lead articles editor for the Texas Tech Law Review and the co-executive editor of the Texas/American Bank Lawyer. Additionally, he represented the university in five national moot court competitions, two state competitions, and was inducted in the National Order of the Barristers.
