Mita is a member of the firm’s Financial Services and Securities Enforcement Department.
Before joining McGuireWoods, Mita clerked in the Middle District of North Carolina and the Eastern District of Virginia and gained both civil and criminal litigation experience. Mita received her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. During her time at UVA Law, she served as the senior notes editor on the managing board of the Virginia Journal of International Law and as the president of the South Asian Law Students Association.
Prior to law school, Mita graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy.
