Laure is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Private Equity group and focuses her practice on private investment funds and other alternative investment vehicles. She represents sponsors in the structuring, formation, launch, fundraising and ongoing operation of private funds, and represents investors in connection with their investments in those funds across a range of strategies.
On the sponsor side, Laure advises investment managers on the structuring, launch and fundraising of private funds, including private equity (buyout and growth), venture capital, private credit, real assets and other opportunistic and hybrid strategies. Her work includes fund structuring and governance, preparation and negotiation of fund documentation, side letter negotiations and ongoing operational matters. She also advises on secondary transactions, including continuation vehicles and other sponsor-led liquidity transactions.
On the investor side, Laure represents institutional investors, family offices and other sophisticated investors in connection with investments in private funds. She advises on primary commitments and secondary acquisitions and sales of fund interests, and represents investors in connection with strategic and anchor investments and related negotiations.
