Muhammad focuses his practice on representing asset owners, private equity firms, servicers, and other investors in a variety of domestic and cross-border transactions related to the aviation industry.
His work involves a variety of complex transactions and financing arrangements, including sale and leaseback financings, individual and portfolio aircraft sales and lease novations, and cross-border financings. He also works with clients to implement commercial agreements and amendments involving the leasing of aircraft and engines on behalf of asset owners, as well as restructuring aircraft portfolios.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Muhammad’s experience as a lawyer included representing asset owners, financers, commercial lessors and airlines in various life-cycle transactions implicating the disposition, operating, leasing and maintaining of commercial aircraft and aircraft engines.
