McGuireWoods LLP announced today that it has received a Tier 1 ranking in the 2013 edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms.”
This Tier 1 ranking was determined through the firm’s overall evaluation, which was derived from a combination of client feedback, peer review and law firm survey responses.
The national first-tier rankings will be published in a special Money issue released by U.S. News & World Report on Nov. 20, 2012. The national and metropolitan first-tier rankings will be featured in the 2013 “Best Law Firms” stand-alone publication. The firm’s complete national and metropolitan rankings may be found here.
This news comes on the heels of a recent survey by BTI Consulting Group Inc., which cited McGuireWoods’ litigation practices in several categories, including recognition as a “Litigation Powerhouse: Class Action and Tort,” in its 2013 edition of BTI Litigation Outlook: Changes, Trends and Opportunities for Law Firms survey.
