lenders in global and U.S. syndicated loans in the first half of 2019,
continuing its powerhouse performance in league tables published by
Refinitiv. The firm also ranked No. 8 in deal count for representing
borrowers in U.S. transactions.
McGuireWoods advised lenders on 96 global deals valued at $78.8 billion and
74 U.S. deals worth $62.2 billion. The firm represented borrowers in 12
syndicated loans valued at $5.3 billion.
In addition, the firm took the top spot for representing lead banks in U.S.
middle-market loans and ranked second in proceeds for middle-market
institutional and private equity-backed loans in league tables published by
the market intelligence service Debtwire. McGuireWoods earned top five
rankings from Debtwire for North America leveraged loans and M&A
McGuireWoods’ recent notable transactions include representing Wells Fargo
as administrative agent in connection with a $500 million secured revolving
credit facility for Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., and advising
Strata Worldwide as borrower in a refinancing of its current debt.
