The M&A Advisor selected McGuireWoods partner Alyssa Campbell for its 2026 Emerging Leaders Awards honoring young professionals for success in mergers and acquisitions, turnarounds and financing.
Campbell has deep experience with private equity-backed M&A transactions. Based in Chicago, she leads platform and add-on acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, control, minority, growth and structured equity investments, divestitures, joint ventures, recapitalizations, commercial transactions and corporate governance matters. Her clients include private equity funds, institutional co-investors, strategic acquirers, independent sponsors, founders and executives.
Her recent accomplishments include:
- representing The Care Team, a portfolio company of Revelstoke Capital Partners, in acquiring Traditions Health, a national hospice, palliative and home health provider with operations in 16 states;
- advising a publicly traded industrials company in the sale of its integrated supply business to a national distribution company; and
- handling a joint venture between one of the largest Catholic health systems in the U.S. and a national provider of innovative home-based healthcare services.
Campbell is a member of McGuireWoods’ Women in Private Equity and Finance initiative, which promotes the advancement of women in private equity and lending through a series of industry-focused events that provide substantive educational and networking opportunities. As part of her commitment to pro bono service, Campbell has represented individuals navigating contractual disputes and regularly provides legal support to nonprofit organizations focused on housing rights and women’s economic empowerment.
