Christina specializes in energy, product liability, and mass tort litigation. Additionally, Christina has extensive experience advising clients on compliance, including drafting internal company trainings and procedures, advising on incident response reporting, responding to government investigations, managing recalls, and representing clients in enforcement litigation. She has worked with in-house staff, external experts, and regulators at EPA, PHMSA, CPSC, CARB, NHTSA, DOT, FRA, STB, and FMCSA.
Christina earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law. During law school, she served on the Managing Board of the Virginia Journal of International Law.
- Serve as national wildfire counsel for numerous utilities, which entails assisting with development of comprehensive wildfire mitigation plans and seeking appropriate legislative and regulatory limitations of liability.
- Representation of natural gas transmission companies in land use and eminent domain litigation.
- Representation of natural gas distribution companies in connection to explosions in various jurisdictions, including Kentucky, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
- Representation of a large oil and natural gas production company in environmental litigation brought by local governments.
- Representation of companies in matters pending before, or related to, the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
- Representation of automobile manufacturers in NHTSA investigations and recall actions.
- Advise large utility companies engaged in the transportation of hazardous liquids by pipeline and in the transportation of natural gas by pipeline on federal requirements.
- Draft state wildfire mitigation legislation.
