McGuireWoods’ Alice Youngbar Earns GlobeSt ‘Woman of Influence’ Recognition

April 13, 2026

GlobeSt, a media company serving the commercial real estate community, has selected McGuireWoods partner Alice M. Youngbar as a 2026 Woman of Influence within its CRE Legal Counsel category.

Youngbar, who co-leads the firm’s Real Estate Finance Practice Group, helps institutional lenders navigate the complexities of commercial real estate finance, with a particular focus on agency lending and securitized transactions that support the nation’s multifamily housing market. She represents clients in commercial real estate loans intended for securitization and sale in the secondary market, with deep experience in transactions originated under the Fannie Mae DUS and Freddie Mac Seller/Servicer programs.

Youngbar, who serves as managing partner of McGuireWoods’ Los Angeles office, was named by GlobeSt in 2024 as an Influencer in Multifamily Real Estate.

“Alice’s leadership and commitment to client service excellence are vital to our practice,” said Dennis Mensi, chair of McGuireWoods’ Public and Private Infrastructure & Real Estate Department. “Her recognition as a Woman of Influence is a testament to her reputation as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in the commercial real estate industry.”

Youngbar will be honored with other award recipients during the GlobeSt Women of Influence conference in Denver in July and profiled in a feature article.
