Amy is a partner in the firm’s Antitrust & Trade Regulation Practice Group, where she focuses her practice on complex antitrust disputes and high-stakes class action defense. Amy represents corporate clients in federal and state courts across the country, defending claims involving alleged price-fixing, monopolization, unfair competition, and other antitrust and competition-related matters.
In addition to her antitrust practice, Amy has developed a specialty in Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) litigation defense and regulatory counseling. She advises businesses on compliance strategies, risk mitigation, and litigation avoidance related to telemarketing, text messaging, autodialer use, prerecorded communications, and related consumer protection statutes. When litigation arises, Amy defends clients in individual and class action TCPA matters, guiding them through every stage of the case—from pre-suit investigation through dispositive motion practice, discovery, trial, and appeal.
Amy also maintains a significant higher education practice. She advises colleges and universities on regulatory compliance, internal investigations, and enforcement matters involving various government agencies. She has experience guiding institutions through complex investigations, responding to government requests and inquiries, and managing sensitive compliance reviews. Her work in this area reflects a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape impacting higher education institutions.
Known for her strategic, practical approach, Amy partners closely with clients to develop litigation and compliance strategies aligned with their business objectives. She combines rigorous legal analysis with a pragmatic perspective, helping clients navigate complex legal challenges while minimizing operational disruption and reputational risk.
Amy is active in the Antitrust Section of the American Bar Association, currently serving as co-chair for the Diverse Perspectives & Engagement Committee. Amy is also an active member of the firm’s Chicago Recruiting Committee.
