National and regional legal publications reported on the arrival of McGuireWoods partner Michael Kuczynski, who brought his nonprofit tax and governance practice to the firm’s Atlanta office.
The Daily Report, the Atlanta affiliate of Law.com, quoted Gerald V. Thomas, II, the firm’s deputy managing partner and head of corporate, on Kuczynski’s move in a Sept. 11, 2026, story. Thomas said the firm specifically sought an attorney with Kuczynski’s experience to advise nonprofits on federal tax and governance issues, suggesting clients such as hospitals, family offices and university foundations will benefit from Kuczynski’s insight.
Kuczynski “is going to do extremely well on our platform,” Thomas told The Daily Report.
