McGuireWoods advised client TruTemp Services, a provider of residential HVAC, plumbing and electrical services, through recent acquisitions of D&D HVAC and Sandhills Heating & Refrigeration. The two deals expand TruTemp’s North Carolina footprint, running from Raleigh, Apex and Durham through Sanford and Aberdeen.
TruTemp was formed in 2025 when private equity firms Centre Partners and Baldwin Creek purchased Maynor Service Company. The D&D and Sandhills acquisitions were the first since TruTemp’s launch.
